SMS Program Terms
Effective date: June 1, 2026 · Mero Mero Systems LLC
These SMS Program Terms ("SMS Terms") describe the text-message program offered by contractors who use the MeroMero platform operated by Mero Mero Systems LLC ("MeroMero", "we", "us") to communicate with you ("you", "recipient").
1. Program Name
MeroMero Contractor Messaging Program — a service used by independent contracting businesses (plumbing, HVAC, roofing, painting, landscaping, handyman, and general contracting, among others) to send service-related text messages to their customers.
2. Program Description
By providing your mobile phone number through one of the consent channels described in §3, you authorize the contractor business you are working with (the "Contractor") to send you SMS messages via the MeroMero platform regarding:
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notifications
- On-the-way notifications when the contractor or technician departs for your service address
- Estimate delivery, follow-up, and approval reminders
- Invoice delivery and payment reminders
- Post-service review requests with a link to leave feedback
- Referral program invitations after a completed service
- Occasional promotional or seasonal service offers from the Contractor
3. How You Consent (Opt-In)
You become enrolled in this program by one of the following actions, each of which constitutes prior express written consent under the TCPA:
- Submitting your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on a Contractor's website built using MeroMero ({contractor-slug}.meromero.ai)
- Scheduling an appointment through a Contractor's online booking widget with the SMS consent box checked
- Providing verbal consent when speaking with a Contractor's AI receptionist during an inbound phone call
- Signing an estimate or invoice document that includes SMS authorization language above the signature line
The exact consent wording you accept is stored with your record and available upon request.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the Contractor. A typical service relationship may result in 5–15 messages per service event, including appointment reminders, on-the-way notifications, estimate and invoice deliveries, and post-service review or referral requests. You may receive additional occasional messages from the Contractor (e.g., seasonal promotions) at lower frequency.
5. Message & Data Rates
Msg & data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge fees for messages sent to or received from you. Standard messaging and data rates apply per your mobile plan. MeroMero and the Contractor are not responsible for any carrier charges.
6. How To Opt Out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from the Contractor. You will receive a one-time confirmation that no further messages will be sent. Other accepted opt-out keywords include: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT.
After you opt out, you will no longer receive automated messages from that Contractor. You may opt back in at any time by submitting a new consent (see §3) or by replying START or UNSTOP to the same number.
7. How To Get Help (HELP)
Reply HELP or INFO to any message for assistance. You will receive a response with the Contractor's business contact information. You may also contact MeroMero support directly at:
- Email: support@meromero.ai
- Phone: (720) 339-2500
8. Supported Carriers
This program is compatible with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, and Google Fi. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy
Your phone number, consent timestamp, consent source, IP address (where applicable), and the exact consent wording you accepted are stored to maintain a TCPA-compliant audit trail. We do not share this information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
10. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to consent to receive SMS messages. By providing your phone number you represent that you are the account holder or have authority to consent on behalf of the account holder.
11. Changes To These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the MeroMero platform and on this page. Continued participation in the program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
